Last week, Page was found inside a Temple Hills home suffering after being shot in an incident that remains under investigation as of Tuesday, July 9, leaving his loved ones reeling and asking questions.

"My brother James Page, known as 'Pino' to many and 'Man Man' to family, was an intelligent, smart, handsome, and wise man," Damencea Thompson said. "He was a helpful son, brother, uncle, and most importantly a loving father to his sons."

His death remains under investigation a week after he was found with the traumatic injuries.

According to a GoFundMe campaign created on behalf of his family, there was a lapse in Page's life insurance, and they are now seeking the public's assistance as they look to give him a proper send off.

"James was truly a gem," Thompson continued. "He was working so hard on creating a better life for himself and being the best father he can be. He was truly loving and loved."
